The content that we produced featured Detroit in a new, fresh, and off-the-beaten-path perspective. Our goal was to showcase the growth and revitalization of the city, highlight Detroit as a destination for families, and hone in on the perspective of their greatest asset being the people, creatives, and visionaries who choose to live there and have for generations.

We fell in love with Detroit seeing their growth and being able to connect with locals who call the Motown City Home.
Over the course of a week, we did videography and photography for hotel properties, historical tours, museums, and more.

To be an entrepreneur, it's as simple as finding the need and then filling it.

When I was a young military spouse stationed in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri the first time, I witnessed a common issue within the community.
Military families spent 2-4 years at their duty stations, and many hated it! Why? It came down to the destination not marketing its appeal to transient military families. In turn, families spent most of their time on the base using MWR facilities instead of exploring their area and drivable markets.

So, I did two things!

1) I returned to school to get my master's degree in travel and tourism. I wanted to effectively teach DMOs how to market and not overlook the military community as a key market.

2) I wrote a book!! Last year, I released my book called "My PCS Passport:52 Weeks of Exploration Challenges & Reflection for Military." It is a yearly guided journal designed with journal prompts and bucket lists for military families to fill out at their new duty stations. It challenges families to try the new restaurant, book staycations, explore history in their area, and so much more.

I became an entrepreneur when I recognized a problem or void in my military community. I am so proud that over the years, I've been able to use my education, experience and skills to fill the need.
